While I have many great memories of Balbir Uncle, I have to say that one of the most memorable and defining experiences for me was whenever Balbir Uncle would give me constructive criticism or feedback on one of my web sites.
A personal web site that I had created over 11 years ago has particular significance, mainly because while the actual web site has been long gone, the guestbook entries still remain!
Uncle’s comments ranged from adding Sports as a category to making a historical family web site (much like this one!).
Although I was lucky enough to have told Uncle regarding my plans with the DSK Project, I regret that I didn’t start it sooner because I know that he would have had a lot to share and contribute.

Balbir was like an older brother to me. He worked with my dad in Uganda. Balbir used to come to see my dad, when I was very young. I was reunited with Balbir in 1997. I was very glad to see him. We got together quite often then talked about our hockey days. He was very good with my children. He was a man of distinction, humble and a very kind person. He is not with us physically but we often think of him. Our family do miss him.
